Utrecht University School of Governance

The Utrecht University School of Governance (USG) is the host institute for this project.
USG is one of the few world-leading research institutes in the field of public administration and organisational science. Strategic HRM is one of the key themes in this research programme.
USG has strong institutional links with relevant partners. This refers to other national and international universities, research institutes (e.g., the Aarhus University-based Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership, Cardiff Business School), and professional associations (e.g., European Group for Public Administration), as well as to societal partners on sectoral and local levels (in particular in the education and hospital-care sectors).
International advisory board
The overall cohesion, quality, and relevance of this project will be guarded by an international advisory committee, consisting of academics and practitioners. The academic members are international experts from various disciplines relevant to this project. The practitioners represent the two sectors and will guard the link to practice and the societal impact of the project. The advisory committee will meet three times (beginning, mid-term, concluding stage) to discuss the set-up, progress, and results.

Future of Work Hub
The Future of Work Hub is a platform where scientists, organisations and policy makers can collaborate on answering questions about the causes and consequences of ongoing innovation and globalisation for individuals’ working lives, organisations, markets and public institutions, with high visibility in societal and policy debates. The platform is part of Institutions for Open Societies, one of the four areas of research expertise that mark Utrecht University. All researchers of this project are actively contributing to the platform. Eva Knies and Maria Peeters are core members.
